Back Valley Creative (“I,” “me,” “my”) is a web design and branding business based in Statesville, North Carolina. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what I do with it. I keep it short and plain on purpose.

What I collect

Information you send me. When you use the contact form, book a call, request a quote, or buy a package, you give me details such as your name, business name, email, phone number, website, and a description of your project. If you pay or sign an agreement, my scheduling, contract, and payment tools collect what they need to do that.

Basic technical information. Like most websites, my hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time). If website analytics is turned on, it records anonymous visit information such as pages viewed and the general area and device type of visitors.

How I use it

  • To reply to you and to quote, schedule, and carry out your project.
  • To send invoices and receive payment.
  • To keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.

I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising networks.

Who else handles it

I use a small number of trusted services to run the business. They process information only to provide their service to me:

  • Web hosting (Namecheap) stores this website and its form submissions.
  • Email and calendar (Google Workspace) delivers messages you send me.
  • Client management (Dubsado) handles booking, proposals, contracts, invoices, and payments, and may use a payment processor such as Stripe.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics), when enabled, reports anonymous traffic.

I may also share information when the law requires it.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, plus analytics cookies if analytics is enabled. Embedded tools such as the booking and checkout forms may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiries and project records for as long as they are useful for the work and for tax and legal reasons, then delete or archive them. If you would like your information deleted sooner, ask me.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you, or ask me to stop contacting you. Email hello@backvalleycreative.com and I will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If I change how I handle information, I will update this page and the date above.
