COVID has changed the way the world is doing business. An online presence for your business is so important to making sales in the "new normal." Here are a few more reasons you need a great looking website in 2021:

Your customers are looking for you online

Potential customers are looking for businesses online through search engines, Google Maps, etc.  If your competition is online, and you aren’t, guess who the customer will find?  According to Verisign, 91% of Americans are using the internet to search for local goods and services.  

You look reputable and trustworthy

Having a well-executed digital presence makes your business appear more professional to your customers. Many consumers look at Google’s reviews.  Google gets their information about your business from your website, such as hours of operation, address, phone number, etc.  Having a professionally built website with good search engine optimization (meaning you make it easy for google to find you) enables your customers to find you online.  

Websites are an inexpensive form of advertising

Think about how much a billboard costs. Or a magazine or newspaper ad. Or a TV spot.  In comparison, websites are much less expensive and they last much longer.  

You control the info and branding

Your website is a representation of your business and you can make it look however you like! Many businesses choose to include a blog on their site (great idea!) and this is a wonderful way to share more info about your business, industry, etc. and positions you as the expert.

If the vast majority of customers are looking for goods and services online, why would you not use that opportunity to sell to your customers!

Customers have questions: What are your hours? How much does this cost? What are the benefits of your product or service? Where are you located? If your potential customers have to call you or come into your business to ask these questions, then it takes up valuable time.  Your website can answer all these questions and more!

Great business websites find ways for their customers to interact with them.  Using an effective Call to Action, you can get your customers to book an appointment, get a quote, subscribe to a newsletter, etc. Increased engagement leads to increased opportunities to convert leads into customers!

Websites are easy to keep up to date

Websites are getting easier and easier for businesses to use and keep up to date.  If something changes in your business, you provide a new product or service, its super easy to get your website updated with the latest info for your customers.
